Though I have only joined today I have owned iPads since 2010. This week though saw the retirement of my venerable and trustworthy 1st Gen 65G iPad (though it has now been given to a friend who wants an iPad but cannot afford one) and in its place is a lovely new white iPad Air 128G!
What a difference in user experience! The new one reminds me more of my 17" Mac Book Pro (mine is the last generation one to be made).
Very impressed so far with the new Air, so light and easy to handle and the graphics are stunning.
Being a fan of "The Cloud" I took full advantage of it in setting up the new device. It was so effortless!
I just purchased a cheap clear case back from eBay to tide me over, I think I will get the iPad Air case but am waiting for other cases to come out first but I love to keep the low profile so this cheap (just over $4 including shipping) will do until I see what other cases come on the market.
I decided to spend the money initially on extra space rather than a case as I am gentle with my stuff anyway. I love ripping DVD's from my collection and watching them on my iPad so the extra space will be most welcome.
Anyway. Thanks for having me here and I look forward to joining in more!
