...... or Downunder if you like :) I'm not new to Apple but new to iPad and look forwards to learning all about it! So far I've just downloaded iTunes and played with the buttons. Hehehe I have a lot to learn.

Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome!

Congrats on the iPad purchase, welcome to the club!

Before asking questions try searching the forums. Most of your questions have probably been answered before.

If you don't search first that's okay too.

There is tons of information that will answer a majority of questions. You may have some new ones.

Have fun. This community is very supportive.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!

Thanks very much for the welcome.

So far I've set up two things, my mail and facebook. So now I have two questions :D
1. When I'm in facebook I have no keypad available. I'm sure it's hiding somewhere!
2. How can I configure my gmail so that I'm not logged in when I launch. I can't find how to logout. Private stuff in there!

I'd really appreciate some help ..... and then I'll go and read the manual LOL Typical woman, try it first then go to the instructions when all else fails! ;)

Thanks again
... Janine
