Hello everyone. I just signed up for this forum.

My wife and I are planning a trip to the Czech Republic this fall. I am interested in any information you can give me about using my Ipad and Iphone on the trip. Is wifi readily available? Is a US standard Ipad appropriate or do I need to have anything extra to get things working?

Any additional advice you can give me is greatly appreciator.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I saw your question about your forthcoming trip. WiFi is an international standard so nothing is necessary to prepare your iPad for the trip except a power outlet adaptor. The charger itself will work just fine but you'll need an adaptor to be able to plug into the outlet there. WiFi is quite widespread in urban areas - probably your hotel will have it but they might make an additional charge for its use.

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
