Back from camping. The weather was so nice. It rained a little. There's nothing like the smell of a wet forest! It's Ben so hot where I live, it was great to get out of the heat for a while. The elk were hanging around our campsite. One morning they ate our neighbor's jelly beans and chips. Here's a pic of the one who visited our campsite....she was eating the grass (as we hid our chips and jelly beans). And Gxies, no fishing, but I did ride my mountain bike a little. We had some beautiful sunsets.

That pic looks so cool! How fun for you! If I were an elk, I think I would look for chips and jelly beans too. Actually, I don't need to be an elk to look for those, I can just be me! Glad you had a wonderful time away, Val!

We were on the Mogollon Rim in the middle of Arizona near the town of Payson. We were at almost 7,000 feet above sea level- quite a climb from Phoenix.
