What are we meaning by album covers? All I'm thinking is CDs? lol. I'm forever confused..

The album cover was the cardboard sleeve the record was stored in. It's like the descriptive paper in the jewel case for the CD. So you could use that paper as your album cover. When I was in high school, there was this guy who would paint the door of your locker with the album cover of your choice. He would unhinged the door, take it home, paint it, and put it back on. It was really cool! He got in trouble, though, for vandalism!! Ah, bureaucracy!!
