I did that too with some photos from the early 1800s. Fun to find the right one!

My maternal grandma and grandpa on their wedding day. My grandma was born in 1886! She was 48 when she had my mom! My mom and aunt holding their dollies. My mom on a pony. My mom, my uncle Paul, my aunt Elma, and my uncle Wes (who is 97!). Car pic: my grandma on left, the wife of my uncle, my mom, my aunt. The two children: my paternal grandma and her brother. That brother with the slick swoosh in his hair. Other guy is my grandpa.

Micky, my mom told me that back "then", photographers would walk around neighborhoods with the pony and ask if people wanted a picture! Here is an ironic thing... At his preschool, my youngest son had this picture taken!

thank you, Samantha! I don't know if you ever watched The Walton's on TV, but there were these sisters who made moonshine but were innocent as could be.. I thot of them when I saw Micky's pic! They were also slightly mischievous!!! Micky, fill us in! Lol!

You look the spittin' image of your dad in his "Italiano Vineyard Gondolier" outfit! Could've been in Italiano Vogue magazine!! Wait.....hang on a second....Gondolier... the last third of Gondolier is..... Lear!!! NO WONDER you have two Lears!!! Lol!! hah!

The cutest thing is that my little "W" loves his "Curly" so much. They have this special connection...she watched me give birth to him. So nice! . And they both had their pic taken on a pony!!! . Cute cute!

Oh, I forgot to mention that my maternal grandmother's parents immigrated from Prussia although they were German. They landed in Kansas after Ellis Island. Kansas was the "hot spot" for Mennonites. Mennonites were similar to the Amish. My mom has the "Sunday outfit" my grandma wore to church. A black bonnet, a black half cape, and a black dress. I used to play dress up with the ensemble. They rode in horse and buggy to church. The women and children sat in one half of the church and the men sat in the other half. Interesting stuff
