Donna!!!!! I had my corned beef and cabbage Saturday night! Literally the BEST corned beef I have EVER had in me life an I'm part Irish lassie!!!

Well, I hadn't really thought it through! But I suppose we could write down the menu plan and photograph it, or do it in Skitch or a drawing app. Or just post a pic of something on the plan for the week, and describe the rest in the post. Anth! PERFECT for QotD!!! Feel free to ask whenever you want!! We do a weekly plan on a blank month calendar. We save them to help with ideas for the next month or a year later depending upon the season. We've instigated where a child "helps" with the dish on the menu. Then after anywhere from 3 to 6/7 times, the child is proficient to cook the entire meal on their own. We started this a bit later than we could have, but it's all good !! (Kids: 29, 17, & 16).

Fast Food? Tell the name of the establishment and where it is located (city/country).

Frozen? Brand name and do you alter the directions based on personal preference/ altitude/etc.?

Homemade? Grow your own potatoes? Buy potatoes but cut them yourself? What kind of oil do you use? How hot b4 you add potatoes? Do you wedge, French, or crisscut your potatoes?

I like it! Simple, no cooking, minimal washing up. I think you're onto something there! And this could be very useful in our house, as our meal planning often goes like this: Me: would you like x or Y for dinner tonight? O: no thanks. Me: well, you have to have something, and it would be helpful if I knew what I was going to cook later, so I can take something out of the freezer, and we have the ingredients for x or y, or possibly z, if you prefer.(z being something that I know he doesn't like) O: oh, ok, well x sounds great actually! Me: oh good. After school pick up: O: what's for dinner? Me: x O: but I don't like x! Me: but when I offered you a choice this morning, you chose x, and that's what I've planned, so that's what we're having. O: Sigh. 15 minutes before dinner: O: what's for dinner? Me: FOOD!!! O: what kind of food? Me: JUST FOOD!!! Chumleyboo, level 79

Bezer????? You're a dude, too?!!! Sorry! I didn't know!!! Sooooo, while us "Ladies" (and we are!) are discussing new avatar themes ... You both are still into the "relations" pics, etc. AND, while I admit and enjoy such things, (and they are effin HIlarious! But don't tell anyone I said so...!!!) anyway... We need theme ideas that are a tad more mainstream. I would love to have the guys participate...what are some of your ideas that would be ok for our lovely ladies?

I am so not a dude, but do work in a man's world and needless to say quite the tomboy and thus don't always have the best sense of humor. But I do agree, not the best subject for a theme.
