I second this
I love self help books, unfortunately I have not finished a book since the grey trilogy.. But here is my new reference book.Hey Avatar Gang! I'm going to post my change now cuz I'm going out... BOOKS! I've got a few books going now. This one is intriguing to me...it states that motive is the innate driving core of personality. Why you do or don't get along with someone. Why you do or don't behave a certain way. Fascinating!
Ha! I'm sure a lot of books would seem boring after reading about Mr. Grey himself!! That presents a good question... In fact... ******************************* Question of the day! Can I add another? Shocked at how something so badly written could still get published?! However, it was proof positive, as if it were needed, that every writer needs a good editor. And it did give us the expression "laters"! (Which I likeHa! I'm sure a lot of books would seem boring after reading about Mr. Grey himself!! That presents a good question... It was good, but sad and poignant, and the ending seemed so rushed and sudden that it was disappointing, but worth the time anywayOoh I like Edith Wharton, but haven't read this one. Chumleyboo, level 79
Hi guys and gals. Haven't been around much. My head has been bothering me and using the iPad exacerbates the problem. So, I'm on my laptop typing this. Every time I open the iPad for a quick minute I can't seem to close it again. It's addictive! Anyhow, I hope you are all good. I like the book topic. I just finished reading a bit of fun, a Calvin and Hobbs cartoon book. That always gets me chuckling. And I'm reading a Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child. I guess they made a movie out of at least one of the books. Tom Cruise plays Reacher (horrible casting - Pretty boy Tom would not be my choice). OK, I'm off my high horse now. Oh, and I'm reading something called A Short History Of Nearly Everything. Have a good weekend everyone!
