Oh, it's nice to see that the people in the Czech Republic also practice "re-gifting"! Just goes to show that we're all basically the same the whole world over! And that is a spec-TAC-ular example of a tacky gift GC: EyeC999 Level 86

And, I let this girl be in charge of my kids!!

This may have come from the same store as Carolyn's "treasure". It is my hubby's. His nickname is The Troll, so someone bought him this troll as a gift. It's in our garage, thank goodness! GC: pristoph ......... HD Level 53.....DV Level 32

Well, I'm pleased to say that we have a shortage of trolls in this house, so here, instead, is something that you may or may not find strange. It's a bar of stainless steel "soap", which you rub between your hands under cold running water and it completely removes smells like fish, garlic, etc, which is useful when preparing food. Oh YES, how fun. I'm sure I would have a place for it in the garage. We do a white elephant exchange at work and for years a toy G.I. Joe would show up as one of the gifts. Sadly (not) I never got stuck with it.

Haha! No, I didn't whittle her! We were in a local wood-art shop in the middle of nowhere. We saw her in the window as we were walking out and fell in love She had a silly price tag, but we were feeling a bit mad and bought her anyway. The shop owner told us she was made by a local artist from one beam of wood in an old church that was torn down..she's signed on her belly . The pig, not the artist! You'd have to ask her "why a pig?" and not a cross, lol! But I'd say, "why not a pig?" She's big, too. That's why she's on the floor, and not on a table. I just love her, and she quirky and besides, who else has a huge, wooden, holy pig?

Since we've made a pig sty out of this thread, I agree! Let's turn to the "other white meat"! Come on now, don't be chicken! Speaking of which, where are all our other chickies??!! I'll call them, suey! (No, no, that's for the other other white meat!). Here chickie, chickie! Eggzactly, they've all flown the coop! This is getting rather corny!
