Ok Avatar Gang! Time to change avatars to the STRANGEST thing in your house!! We had an Au pair from the Czech Republic. She brought this with her as a gift for us. Umm, thank you??!!! And why do I still have it!!!

Oh my....not even sure what that is! I'm off to hunt for the oddest....not sure what I'm gonna find!

This may have come from the same store as Carolyn's "treasure". It is my hubby's. His nickname is The Troll, so someone bought him this troll as a gift. It's in our garage, thank goodness!

Well, I'm pleased to say that we have a shortage of trolls in this house, so here, instead, is something that you may or may not find strange. It's a bar of stainless steel "soap", which you rub between your hands under cold running water and it completely removes smells like fish, garlic, etc, which is useful when preparing food.

Oh YES, how fun. I'm sure I would have a place for it in the garage. We do a white elephant exchange at work and for years a toy G.I. Joe would show up as one of the gifts. Sadly (not) I never got stuck with it.

While eating at a Carls Jr years ago, he asked the server if he could keep the table marker. A proud moment for me. We have 3 altogether. They adorn his desk.

Sammy, did you whittle that little piglet? Maybe you are the one with all the hidden talents!! . Seriously, why a pig? Church wood leads me more towards a cross, a miniature sanctuary, a Nativity set, but not a pig. Do you know the back story?

Haha! No, I didn't whittle her! We were in a local wood-art shop in the middle of nowhere. We saw her in the window as we were walking out and fell in love She had a silly price tag, but we were feeling a bit mad and bought her anyway. The shop owner told us she was made by a local artist from one beam of wood in an old church that was torn down..she's signed on her belly . The pig, not the artist! You'd have to ask her "why a pig?" and not a cross, lol! But I'd say, "why not a pig?" She's big, too. That's why she's on the floor, and not on a table. I just love her, and she quirky and besides, who else has a huge, wooden, holy pig?
