Well, Carolyn suggested taking the photo with a toe...and I was feeling quite supple after 2 hours under a heated throw...and I just wondered if it COULD be done, and lo and behold! Tada! GC: EyeC999 Level 84

What a talented toe you have!

Corn bags are feed corn in a sack of some sort. You warm them in the microwave and they stay warm for 3-4hours. Keeps the frost off your toes! I have one I wrap around my neck. Morning everyone! GC: pristoph ......... HD Level 52 (making candy!!)......DV Level 32

Ah, so like a wheat bag! I use an old-fashioned hot water bottle, as we don't have a microwave.

Thank you dear! I tried hard to take the photo myself, but my toes are not quite as flexible as Sam's so I had to engage the services of my personal photographer, who was a bit impatient, as the job was taking him away from more important things, like Minecraft, and was unpaid. After I rejected several pics which were too blurry, and appeased his tender feelings ("I AM holding it still!!", "I'm trying my BEST") - so temperamental, these arty types - we eventually settled on a different angle, which meant more light, and a white pillow as background, and voilà!

Thank you! The camera in the iPad leaves a lot to be desired. If the light isn't just right, the image is grainy. Pretty crap really, the iPhone is much better, but sadly, I don't have one.

I have been practising photographing my elbows with my toe (it's important to have a hobby) and am pleased to report that I have succeeded! Gosh it's tricky! Now I am working on the quality of the image. I soon realised that it's a whole lot easier if you turn the camera around so that it's facing you! I want to be prepared for our "elbows photographed by toes" avatar theme, which gets my next vote! That's assuming of course, that I get enough notice!

Oh, the iPad camera is hideous, I agree! What were they thinking? But I couldn't have taken my epic elbow shot with the iPhone, I'm pretty sure about that. And as far as the "elbows photographed by toes" avatar theme, I think I'd rather remove my own tooth with a salad fork! Lol! This is how the pic happened, for those who like to follow along at home:

1. Place foot on nightstand
2. Place iPad so that the picture-taking fake "button" thingy is directly in front of your big toe
3. Arrange elbows in an attractive, fetching position
4. Slowly move elbows until they are in front of the camera and you can see them, and ONLY them on the screen
5. Twitch big toe so it touches the fake picture-taking "button"
6. Reverse steps 4 through 1 slowly
7. Take Advil
8. Post pic to iPad forum
9. Delete pic

Are you guys crazy or are you all contortionists,I am so worried that I will have bits in the elbows by toes photo that will get me thrown out of HayDay or get me arrested . I am waiting to see these masterpieces ,I am also waiting to be called as defense witness when these pics are displayed. You will all just have to imagine my elbows,or can I post my dog's elbows ,they have 12 between them. Jennifer

Yes, it was a bit tricky to make sure it was JUST elbows, and careful screening afterward to make sure again prior to posting! And I wouldn't say we're contortionists, rather we are "artistes" who believe there is no art without pain, or shame, for that matter...I'm sure Anthea would agree....I would LOVE to see all 12 dog elbows in one shot! I would think it couldn't be done, but I've seen that Christmas pic and know better than to doubt you

Will the dogs' elbows be photographed by the dogs' toes? Because I think that's a requirement.

Thank you for revealing your method and sharing it with us. I sat on the bed with my legs stretched out in front of me, then I balanced the iPad on its cover, and steadied it between my feet. Then I added another step: Open pic in Skitch, to crop out the extraneous bits! Saves bending too much at the waist to get your elbows close to the camera, and also saves your hamstrings! I expect a congratulatory glass of wine could be added in somewhere there too!
