Not to worry, looking for pics. of my old black lab. Zack was his name, beautiful, but kinda of a lousy hunting dog, untrained, not a great swimmer either, but could he ever cuddle as soon as hubby shut the garage door, that little bugger knew when to jump into bed, and get warm.

I was so upset when the chickens died, (and no one else was, really), I just couldn't cope with losing a dog. Maybe silkworms.... ?

OK, this is Olive. She was found at a shelter, emaciated, greasy and spiritless. We couldn't leave her there, so out of pity we brought her home as a companion to Shilo. Fast forward 12 years....she's the 2nd love of my life (hubby being 1st, naturally!). Best dog I ever had - obedient, loyal, devoted and totally in love with me . She's my absolute treasure! And since Shilo passed, Olive has been a real joy to us.

Sorry, friends, for my Melon Chollie! (Anth!!) I think my brain froze swimming in the cold!

It's ok to have Chollie Melons! Not surprising when you have braved the arctic wastes, and in a swimsuit! I'm sure a nice glass of red will warm your spirits. I will toast you with a G&T later, after 5pm.

My next dog will be the same way from now on - go to the pound and bring home the most pathetic, hopeless dog they have . Best feeling ever! Wish I could bring them all home, though..
