Might be better not to fill boats till you save up coin. The boats don't give very good coin return. If you sell your stuff for full price in the stand, you have plenty of money in no time,

Since your mine isn't yet open, the quickest way I know is to make things that everyone needs all the time. Best bet is sugar. Though these are fairly low margin, people will always pay top price for them, and quickly. Plus, sugar doesn't take that long to make.
