Yes you can do that. Or if you are needing or looking for something in particular then you can post that on here too. Sometimes people will just offer to sell you items at their roadside and others make ask if you have an item in exchange. Some may post their reply on here or private message you. Once you agree on the "deal" then you will have to have them as a friend add through Game Center. Then once you are friends, you go to their roadside where they will put up 1 wheat for $1 and you buy it so they know you are there. This is called wheating. Then they will put up whatever it is that you are purchasing. Once you are done there and if you have offered to sell something to them then they will come to your roadside and do the same process.
