Just brought the jam maker and since its going to take a day to load I thought I'll use the time to save up supplies.
What do I need when it first is made?
Apple jam is the only one at the start?
Apples, syrup?

It just takes 3 apples and takes 6 hours to make

Just 3 apples per jam. Or 3 of whatever fruit. The jams take a long time to make (6 hours for apple, 7 for cherry and raspberry and 8 for blackberry) so you don't need a huge stock because you won't be going through them quickly.

How to add friends that are not connected through Game Center or Facebook?

Hi there! Does anyone know if it is possible to add someone, by, let's say, typing in their farm names? I have a friend who isn't connected to Game Center or Facebook, and we can't even locate each other in the newspapers! It's very frustrating!
