Do you earn or lose gold when buying fruit and berry trees, then sell everything you harvest at max price?

I suck at math, but I think you can earn a bit og gold on that? Just want a comfirmation so I know I'm not wasting all my gold. d;

You will gain money and xp with trees. But they do take a lot of time to grow the fruit but you will make money. I think you get four apples the first time and it increases after that. By the second harvest you have already paid for the tree if you sell at maximum price. And you can get four harvests if someone revives your trees for you after the third harvest.

The only thing so far that looses you money is the coffee machine ( that I am aware of). It costs more to make the coffee than what you can sell it for, so you will loose money with it.

Ok, you're going to laugh, but I need eggs! Lol! Seriously, my boat is asking for eggs (I could fill the muffins and feta pie, but not the eggs. ) I obviously could go looking in the paper and fill it, but I figure if anyone here has some eggs they want to get rid of, they would get cash and xp points. Please only fill my boat if you really want to get rid of the eggs, because I am not desperate. I am done with the challenges, I have most of the cats and dogs and I'm not needing the money, so like I said only do this if it benefits you. Thank you.

Is your boat already gone or is it the one coming next? I have eggs, went to your farm but no boat.

This is good to know! I have only harvested my trees once. I keep finding cheap fruits that I haven't harvested my own. But, getting more difficult finding cheap blackberries and so I'll be harvesting and re-planting my own.

My take is anything in my stand is for anyone who finds it. Anything that I want to make available to neighbors I sell through a trade with pm. I sell a lot through my stand because that's where you can really make money. Truck and boat orders are more for xp than anything, real money making is in the stand.

Stand items are fair game to all. But that's just my opinion and the way I play. If you want to delete or deferred, that is also your prerogative. It is all in how you play the game. But remember if you have something advertised, it is open for all to see, not just your friends. So be sure to never advertise if you have items that you are saving for your lower level neighbors.

I agree with this. Once it's out there, my buyers can do whatever with it. I sell a few things at max and others at a discount. If the buyer wants to re-sell my discounted items, so be it. I do the same if I can make decent money from it.

I sell a lot of building materials/saws/mining stuff too just because I love browsing the paper for deals and if I find building materials etc, even at max price, I buy them just so that I can sell them on my stall for my neighbours (never advertised). I noticed that most of my building stuff are purchased by a couple of the same neighbours. I don't mind but I chuckle each time because I feel like they have a radar on my stall It's literally seconds after it's out that the items get purchased.
