Not only is the pricing way out of wack...so aren't production times 16 hr platnium bar,12 hr gold,8 hr for silver.....now once you want to convert these to jelwery times and products are as follows
Diamond ring needs 2 platnium 1 gold bar and a diamond takes 4 hours
Necklace needs 2 silver,1 gold and 1 platnium takes 3 hours
Bracelet needs 2 silver and 1 gold takes 2 hours
Therefore your jelwery will be produced at a much more FASTER pace than you can produce bars

I forget the price, I don't have one at the moment. Personally, I don't think it is worth it to make diamond rings. About once a week I'll get Tom for a day (I get him for 15 diamonds) and send him out for them. I usually stock up on shovels(which gives me a chance to at least get a couple diamonds back), other jewelry and bars too. So in the end it "saves" me diamonds because I get back more than 15 rings.

Does it matter which item you use for the mine? Shovel, dynamite, TNT? I know all 3 gives your ore, but I thought maybe TNT would give your MORE ore compared to using shovels?

Huh.. Here I thought TNT would give the most and shovel the lowest. I sold my shovels and stock up on TNT instead. Lol.
