Maybe a guy's viewpoint will help him understand. I see purses and shoes as low hanging fruits .... Easy ways to please the wife. Trick is to make sure that you don't give your opinion and at the same time make her feel that you happily participated in the purchase. There's 90% chance that husband's opinion will be wrong.
