Hay Day Discussion and Game Help Thread (NO FRIEND REQUESTS)

Hey you! :) A like button on the app would be so great. Morning and thank you, but really, I have to credit Blondie's creativity. :) Chumleyboo, level 72.

G'morning fancy avatar lady lol :-P Carolyn Drew it? lol.. That's so cool. Hand drawn avatars are the way forward! ;-)

Just a reminder, the lottery finishes tomorrow morning, so there is plenty of time if anyone else wants to have a guess.

I have a policy not to help someone if I don't see at least one please in their requesting post. Is it really so hard not to say please when asking other people for help in this game? Sent from my iPad mini using iPF. GC: kruella jones (2 words no caps) Be aware that I'm not a sugar mill or a dairy farm. There will be exceptions but they will never become the rule :)

You may be right, but when requests start with "I need" I like to see a please or thank you tacked on to the request. Maybe I'm just old fashioned that way :) I wouldn't ask a person standing in front of me for help without saying please so why not extend the same curtesy to people in a chat room :) It makes it a friendlier place don't you think :) Sent from my iPad mini using iPF. Same here KJ, it's just rudeness really. I refuse to help people who lack manners. Language barrier is no excuse for me either, first thing most of us learn in other languages - hello, please, thank you. If people can write out what they want help with, they can write "please" on the end of it.. iPad RD | London, UK | GC: sapphireoceans | Level 72 | If YOU won't fill your own sugar/dairy boat, I certainly won't ~ also, manners are free :-)

Totally, totally agree with you KJ, and with Laura's comments later. Chumleyboo, level 72.

I completely agree. Most of us here are more than willing to help folks out but it isn't a given. It is a "community" and communities are better with common courtesies which foster a more collegial environment.

I'd like to add that I prefer when people respond to PMs. I think it is courtesy to respond that you do/don't need help. Sending a note that you can help that goes unresponded just drives me crazy! But I too just may be old-fashioned! ;)

I agree with your comments about responding to PMs. And with all the rest of it actually! Apart from the old-fashioned bit :) I think good manners are always in fashion:)

If they want to spend money on me, I will make them happy. Give them a good time. They can win anything we do together.

Some people may just have money to burn - I checked the farm out and they had 8 of the spider trees at 20 diamonds a tree :) .... The urge to win drives people to do strange things :) Can you imagine the good they could have done with the money they spent just to win a virtual competition on a virtual farm .....so sad.

Whats this ghost thing? GC : behappy123

Every now and again a ghost appears in the fishing area, and when you tap on it, you get something. It's supposed to appear at the same time for everyone, which is why people announce it when they find one. But that doesn't always seem to be the case. :)
