Diamonds in the mines

I use this method too when I am desperate for diamonds, but it's painfully not productive. I loved when you could do the old "box always at the same place" trick in 2012.BTW did somebody find out how the process of getting diamonds in the mine works? Is it just random?

This happens very consistent for me: when one diamond comes out, the next dig or 3rd dig immediately after each other will be another one. So you should do 2 or three digs (use different mining tools) in a row if you find a diamond in your mine. Diamonds come in pair!

Mine hasn't been too bad lately. I've managed some panels and a couple bolts. They aren't advertised though -- I generally have to go through the ads to find them.
