Use Tom with your 50 diamonds
Hi Nancy, don't forget the Soup kitchen also costs 115k if you plan to use diamonds to buy coins. It is better to hire Tom even for a day (15 diamonds) to get at least 45 bowls of lobster soup than to use diamonds (more than 15) to speed up the process (making net, catching lobster, cooking lobster, and making soup) for just a bowl. omg, what Supercell is thinking, we are all kindergarten kids who can't do math?

SERIOUSLY?? I hadn't gone that far into it. Yeh, you're right, Tonia, Tom, is a better deal. I just put two nets and a trap out today and they are 15 to 17 hours before they are done. That's a crazy amount of time to wait before I get something....and then I assume I'm going to need to have something else to make soup, etc. you're right -- what were they thinking?? This seems a lot of time and work before I can do anything!

It is getting worst, it takes a total for 24 hours: 4 hours to make a fishing net, 14 hours (yes 20 hours) to wait for the fish to be caught by the net. And how many? and what type? 3 fish, and they are all Copper Redhorse and Huchen (the common fish of all kinds). Do the math again, we can make 3 red lures (free, no vouchers) in 4.5hrs, and catch fish right away. 4.5 hours to get the same 3 fish that were caught by the net for 24 hours. Talking about compensation, it takes 14 hrs to get a lobster tail and our neighbors want to buy 7 lobster tails for 368 coins (ha!) and school board pays 300 plus each in coins and exp. for 2 lobster tails (ha!).We catch fish and they become fillets ready for burger, pies, .. now we catch lobsters, they still are lobsters that need to be cooked for 2 hrs. We don't have fish pond but why lobster pond now?I wrote the above feedback to Supercell already!

Let me get this right..i've only got a few (3) common fish from the 2 normal nets, NO lobsters. So..the question is do we only get lobsters if we spend 5 diamonds on the mystery net? If that is so..then i'd rather hire Tom and get all the lobsters. Or better still..there's no need to get any fresh lobsters when I can just ask Tom to fetch the ready made lobster products (soup, pizzas) evry 2 hours and so. Double the work and such a waste of time to go through the process of netting, catching, and boiling the lobsters in the pond.
And how do we scoop out the lobsters from the pond? 2 lobsters slipped back into the river when i was trying to scoop it out from the pond..seriously..that's frustrating to know that 24hours of that whole process was wasted just because there's no instructions on how to do it correctly. There's a simple instruction on how to fish, but i cant find any for the lobster..gee..

Mystery net is a rip-off, don't spend 5 diamonds for it, you will catch 3 common fish (same as the normal net) and a panel or plank, ... gee! About lobster deal, 2 hrs to make a trap, 5 hrs to catch a lobster in the lake (when it is done, click on it, the lobster will be transferred to the lobster pond, start getting cooked for another 5 hrs, when the cooking is done, you need to use a scoop there to scoop the lobster tail out, it goes to your barn for storage (check there you see it) and don't worry about the lobster swimming back to the lake, they just make the scene for fun. Then 2 more hrs with 2 lobster tails for a bowl of lobster soup.Yes, use Tom, if you can use him every 2hrs (plus some extra time you miss) for half a day, you can fetch at least 45 bowls of lobster soup. Btw, you can only place two lobsters in the pond for cooking at the same time, if you want more capacity, you need to upgrade the pond for 40k coins for the 1st upgrade.

No, you catch lobster using lobster net and you dont have to spent diamonds.

Thanks for the info Tonia..didnt realize that the lobsters went straight into the barn. Thought they slipped back into the river after scooping them out.
