the fastest ways to gain xp are.. for cropping: wheat is the best.. and then doing truck orders that give a low ammount of coins, but high ammount of xp .. and boat orders are good too because they give a bonus and ticket once you've completed it .. these are the best xp givers..

basically, you don't want to be selling anything in your roadside shop that you don't need to.. if you have spare saws/axes.. make more trees/bushes .. they give you xp too..
