I also thought she was taking a L O N G break from Hay Day rather than a holiday because of the word "hiatus". Well, that is good news! Happy Holy Lebaran days to all who celebrate them. I will look that up so I will know what it signifies.

Not according to my discussion with her last night. Such a shame to lose such a kind hearted, selfless member of our community. She will be missed.. :-(

Well, anyway, I looked up the Holy Lebaran Days. If you aren't interested or may be offended please don't read anymore - purpose is informational only. That is my disclaimer!

It comes after Ramadan which is a fasting month. It is a celebration. Lebaran is the more commonly referred Indonesian term for the Arabic term Idul Fitri, which means "becoming holy again". Lebaran ends the time of contemplating and working on refraining from bad habits such as getting angry, lying, cheating, smoking, drinking, etc. I hope this is correct friends. This is how I read the definition.

So, how does this relate to Hay Day? We have many friends here who have this in their culture. It helps all of us also to remember to be kind, compassionate, have understanding and patience with our Hay Day neighbors.

I think she will be back, she said she will take a break for a while, usually during lebaran, people go to vacation and people get more busy with their household because most domestic helpers back to their hometown for holiday

As far as I understand, lebaran is something like we called BAYRAM in Turkish. Bayram is celebrated for 3 days as soon as the Ramadan month ends, but there is not a special place for gathering. People wear elegantly and visit their relatives/friends. So much BAKLAVA and other types of sweet candy/ chocolate is given. Additionally, adults/olders give pocket money to children after they kiss their hands.

Yes! Something strange is going on in the paper. I have never seen so many exp mats, cheese, butter, cream and the sugar trio. Yet they are all gone before the paper even opens all the way. So sad . Even all our ninja finger aren't fast enough! I did, however, get 3 planks by hanging out at a stall that advertised 5 bolts!
