GC pristoph Level 45/ you can send your boat away empty and get a new one in 4 hours / just hit the boat icon!

Am I missing something with "carrot season"? Four days of growing carrots?!? The paper is already stuffed with carrots...why do we need so many carrots or to grow them in half the time?? Maybe all the upcoming boats will be carrot boats? I must be missing something......
