Wait for the fish to bite and don't move ur finger, it'll try to run away from left to right or up n down. If u can "almost" catch it without moving ur finger at all it means its some more random fish.. Even when the circle is small.

I'll give it a try after doing some sports, thanks for your help!
The yellow bass has some movement, too. Was the trout really hard to catch, like the speckled dace?
Did you collect every fish so far?
