Hey friends!!! I'm desperately needing saws/axes. My dead fruit bushes and trees are making my farm ugly.Will pay full price! PM me.
With that said, I'm level 33, what is a good amount of fruit bushes/trees to have? I think I have too many.

I also only plant according to what tools i have or harvest those that i have tools to remove, also only harvest them when i need them

Has someone already figured out how to catch which fish? Also, how do you get the gold, silver, bronze fish in the book? For one of mine, I got the silver without getting the bronze first, so it's not about number of each caught.

I grow 6 of each at one time and stagger my harvest so I only harvest 3 when the other three are in flower. I have plenty of fruit to meet orders, make jams and juice, and even sell some spares to walk-ups. (Still trying to get Patronage III. Only 18 left!)
This also means I get enough saws and axes from random acquisition to keep the farm clean.

When you read 2 or 3 pages back, you will find some ideas about it. It's a mix of lure and place, and probably some luck regarding the size, would be my guess so far.

You need to look in the fish book in the shed. You will see the outline for the type of lure you need for the different types of fish. Some fish may bite on different types of lures. You can also see which fishing spot you need to go to to catch a particular type of fish by looking at the faint background in the fish photo. The gold, silver, and bronze are given by the weight of each fish you catch. As far as I can tell, that is random. Anyone else have thoughts?

I think the bigger the fish, the inner circle gonna be smaller, sometimes i let go the lures if its too easy, hoping to catch for rare fish or bigger fish
Also if you click the fish picture, theres short description about the fish, i think its a hint where to get the fish, some like reef, some like shallow water, i only open 3 of them, so far i got reef and shallow water, i dunno about the other.

I figured out the lure shapes, but can't quite figure out all the backgrounds. Got the rocks and the waterfall, but which one is the lily pads?

Ok got it now. Looks like some of the backgrounds are for the two areas I haven't yet opened.
