Aww, I don't know how to advise you.. maybe one of the more experienced players can help, someone who may have had the same issue.
If it helps, I did read somewhere that you can't restart your farm if you've already played on that particular device, which if we reversed it should mean that even if you delete it and wanted to start over, it will recognise your farm on that device from when you played before. But I'm not that sure enough to advise you to do that.

I do know one person on here lost their progress somehow, and I'm not sure if they had to start over.

I'm sorry I'm not able to be more help :-(

Yes I did it twice and completely shut down my Ipod as well!! Grrr!

Sandia, your progress is saved through your game enter Id. I once accidentally lost everything on my phone, it was restored to factory. I had to redownload everything. My hay day included.. At first it acted like I needed to start over , but once I signed back into Game Center hay day recognized me and asked if I wanted to continue on my old game.

My daddy recently had his second stroke, he was in a coma for about a week on breathing tube, feeding tube , and had a small opening on his head to drain and everything else you can think of, his right side of his body was affected and has no movement, his progress has been slow but effective. Dont loose your faith, like i tell my daddy if you are still here is because your mission is not complete yet!! Hugs and kisses, be strong my dear!!!
