Filling the boat is a new achievement for me. I've managed to fill 3 in a row I think. What happens if you don't complete a boat? What if people help and then you can't complete the boat? Do all the items get lost?

The captain comes out and burns your barn down, so you better get it filled!!!

The boat will sail after its stipulated time no matter if its completely fill or partially filled.
If people help fill your crates, they get the exp and coins instantly after filling them. So the item is already used when they fill the crates.
Only perks you get for completing your boat is the voucher, extra exp and bonus boat points.

I've been crying all nite long, hating myself...
And I cudnt sleep either...

Nothing, but your captain achievement will reset. If you're going for the achievement, let us know and we will do all we can to help. Also, if you send away empty boats, it will reset back to zero. You need to fill 12 consecutive boats for Captain 3 achievement. :-)
