Thanks, I figured it was a glitch, just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something. By hidden upgrades I meant maybe there is something else I don't know about, for example, somewhere in the description of the upgrade said that friends can now trade personally and communicate, true/false or my imagination haha.... and yes I def noticed the boat increase in diamonds and limits to 3 crates...absolutely hate!!!

The exclamation system is helpful, but flawed. Some farms will permanently show the exclamation mark despite them not needing help. It's a glitch that the game developers failed to rectify in the recent update. If you see a farm that needs help but has no exclamation, it's possible the system just hasn't refreshed yet, and therefore the farm needing help won't appear until it does refresh. Another explanation is that the farm needing help will obtain said help in lightning speed, therefore giving no time for it to appear in the help/exclamation area in your friends list.

I'm not sure what you mean about hidden upgrades? One thing I'm not sure if you've noticed is that boats now require more diamonds if you want to speed up their arrival, and you may now only open three crates per boat for other people to fill..
