Most people who list Bacon & Eggs don't expect it to sell at all, they know that eventually Greg or Tom will come along and clear that slot by purchasing it... If they are kind hearted souls they don't actually advertise, but unfortunately many still do so the newspaper is frequently full of crap...

To NOT place an ad in the newspaper just uncheck the green check mark BEFORE you put your item up for sale. See the pic.

I have never been able to follow anyone in the game, everytime I try to do the "follow this farm" option it tells me the slot is full? Anyone has an opinion in this matter? Also I get frequent mistery visitors buying from my roadside store , I cannot see who they are , since
their farm's name doesn't appear,is that because they aren't my friends yet?

Be a leader not a follower. Who cares who is buying your items just as long as someone is buying.

Mines exactly the same- I've never been able to tag myself onto anyone it's quite annoying at times. The mystery buyer will be one of your followers, that have tagged onto you, I have this one follower who has now gone nutso and just buys EVERYTHING. It's frustrating because you can't get rid of them, I like supplying my neighbors with goodies, unfortunately some people just don't care and take take take... I put on my sign " stop being greedy- follower" but that just made it worse, I'm trying to look on the positive side, which is - this follower is making me pretty rich. And I have quite a few slots on my stall, which I like trying to fill up before anyone buys anything, it's just a silly challenge for myself, so this follower has upped the anti on that one. I actually know the name of this follower, well I'm presuming it's this newbie who added itself recently, I never had any troubles with followers till this one showed up. Hayday team NEED to make an option for us to delete unwanted guests, it's eerily stalkerish.. And I DON'T like it. I suggest emailing the team with your problem they should be able to fix it, I havnt been bothered yet, not about this issue anyway, but I guess I should. Sorry for the long reply.

That's true- but to a point. I want to be a part of other peoples games, I like the fact that my neighbors know that pretty much any time they can come to my place and get quantities of all the crops, or know I'm only a hop skip and a jump away- so they can bag some chook food, because they're just about to head to work or go to bed and don't have 5- 30 mins to spare. I like that aspect of it. Everyone just needs to share. Anyone who can take these wood with nails, screws and nails off me would be greatly appreciated, they're just taking up too much space- plus id like it if someone else got them than my stalker, oops I mean my follower.

Well there you go - its " little sack boy/girl" and they are a generic avatar from a game called " little big planet". I'm glad you ask because I always wanted to know myself.
