Hi Lowden, welcome to the forum Shovels can be harvested when you grow crops, can be given by animals on your farm when you feed them, found in toolboxes, bought in the newspaper/shops (if you're lucky), or they can be traded. I'd be happy to help, but I don't have any spare at the moment, sorry..

You add me, then i will put one wheat on the corner end of my stalls...
If you take the wheat, then i know you already there on my stall

We have to do wheat-ing first, so no one else will take the shovels (or any other trade stuff)

The wheat will wheat you after i get ur friend request...
