How many slots do you have on sugar mills? Get at least 6, then load syrups to be made overnight while you're sleeping, that way it'll work 24/7. I have about 30 more hours on the loom, but I don't have it running 24/7, only 3 slots on it.

I'm behind slot wise, I've only got 4. I used to load syrups like crazy, but I'm low on sugarcane, and I don't have the willpower to plant it all and let it grow
I've been running the loom like crazy, dairy too. Feed mills cranking away, they're hard because of the huge time requirements. Plus, the longest item isn't even an hour. I guess in theory, it gets harder since it's based on how many hours it's running, but with each star each item becomes worth less time

I just make 3 hour shirts to get the star, once I get it I can run faster stuff like plain shirts or hats for boat, truck, etc

I have 3 stars on my machines except juicer, jam maker, oven, cafe, candy maker, shelters & feed mills. Some are ridiculous though. To get 3 stars on the jam maker I think it is, I need to run it for another 5880 hours. In other words if I run it 24x7 then it will be 245 days or approx 8 months before I get 3 stars. Nuts!!

I reckon the only reason for getting the candy machine is because you get to a stage there is nothing else to spend your coin on. The candy takes forever to make and uses heaps of sugar and other stuff and doesn't sell for that much. In fact I think you could sell the raw ingredients for more than you get for the candy. Still it's pretty and there's nothing else to buy......

I don't know, I guess I'm being a little too cautious since I know my sheds need to be bigger to accommodate the boats orders. And I kind of want to have all the equipment to be able to make what I lack in the boats order. Is that silly of me?

Boat is one of my favorite parts of the game. I can't believe you don't have it at level 39 yet! I commend your willpower
