Are you using the app? I used to get emails every time someone posted in this thread. When you subscribe to the thread it asks you if you want to receive emails and I had accidentally clicked yes. I unsubscribed and then subscribed again and made sure I clicked no.

To turn off the emails for pm's I had to mess with my settings on the actual website, not through the app

Last time i accidentally unsubscribed this thread and subscribed it back, it usually asked i u want to get notification..
