Oh, wow! Then it is even more obvious now. Haven't noticed so far since I never used that option. Do you know if they changed it immediately with the update or maybe a little later when they found out people are using that function more often now?

10 diamonds is crazy...

They changed it a few hours after the update came out. They went down to fix the severs and when it was back up the it was 10 diamonds for a boat.

As said, 10 diamonds is crazy. I often thought about spending 1, which seems kind of fair, but 10?? Wondering how many farmers accidently spent 10 diamonds because they didn't notice the new amount and klicked out of habit...

I am sure some did! Ooh, I would have been so upset if that happened to me. I have accidentally added slots on the shelters while playing in my sleep (probably not a good idea ) I guess I just hit the screen at just the right place. Oh well, live and learn.

So probably because they noticed people are using it more, now. But 10, seriously... I don't think this piece of math works out. Could imagine many more people stop spending any diamonds on boats than people who keep doing so for 10 diamonds. Even if those are spending 10 now, I don't think it will work.

Just found a happy boat! I knew I was buying pumpkin and carrot pies for a reason. 4 crates of each able to fill all but 1. My barn has more room, I have more xp and $ and that person's boat is almost ready to sail. Win/win situation

Not a very well throughout marketing ploy. Now the daily deal in the paper is a different story. I like that one and have used it a couple of times. I always seem to run out of mining tools and saws/axes

I always like having a solid stock of pumpkin and carrot pies, too Rather easy to buy from the papers, don't take up too much space (like plain popcorn, never liked collecting those) and still a reasonable amount of open crates to be found.

Yep, daily deal seems different. Although you could get Tom and have him buy more explosives for less diamonds, it might be more attractive to have Tom run for other stuff and buy the daily deal on top of that.

Yep, I use Tom a lot. I bought a load of diamonds when they offered one of those specials that pop up and try to use those to only employ Tom. I use him to get jewelry and other things I am running low on.
