I think they don't work for players who haven't updated yet... But so far, the notification is reliable... Not just for boat helps, but also for trees help, and stores with goodies to sell...

Hello LAURAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Hope your day went fine... New update made the game slow earlier but i think it's a good way to see who needs help... But the leaderboard thing is something weird... How could the top global get that high ranking when the update just started...

After effects of the game update... Hard to buy from papers coz you will miss the good stuffs, game somewhat freezes... Oh well, i hope they fix this asap...

Yeah I wondered about those high numbers too! Seems a bit unrealistic that they'd have gotten that high in the scoreboard so fast :-/
