Yup I'd buy them. Good for trading with. Someone may need lots of screws and you could trade them for something you need

I guess that's the logic xD I do that too, even if I have a lot of screws .. Thinking it will be good to trade.. But a lot of people also have lots of screws and doesn't want anymore screws.. It's kind of a dilemma isn't it?
I used to get a lot of duct tape.. But it stopped lately and it gets harder to get them
same thing happened to deeds, used to get them a lot, then nothing..
I receive constant wood panels nowadays.. Which was kind of rare to me before.. And planks.. Sometimes.. But nails and bolts are still too rare in my game

I think the game seems to go through waves of what materials are rare and which ones are in abundance. I am getting planks and tapes from toolboxes again, and the diamonds have returned for me.
Seem to have wood panels a lot lately too, and screws have not proven difficult to obtain either. I harvest saws, stakes and bolts often.
I guess makes sense to rotate what's rare etc. Makes the game more challenging and fun
