I wish I loved the fact they are playing. I get constant messages and phone calls... No.... Not to see how I am, to see if I plants and cheese!!! Bless them. My mum bought my dad an iPad because he kept nicking hers and playing on her farm!! Lol

My dad has just joined Facebook as well, trying to explain it all is a nightmare. He can't understand the 'you might know these people' concept of it. He keeps saying 'but I don't know them, how do they know me'....arghhhh. Although they aren't doing bad with technology considering they are in their 60's lol

This so made me laugh! Having thought about what I said, I guess I have to agree with you. My folks aren't that much younger than yours by the sound of it, and up until the last few weeks they've both been technophobes whereas I'm the absolute opposite! When they both decided they wanted to be on FB I despaired. No disrespect but mine are absolutely clueless, LOL. Neither have iPads (I only got mine at Christmas), my dad uses an iPhone 4S and until recently didn't actually realise it did more than calls, texts and the odd bit of music and games. My mum uses a Nokia that is almost the same age as her, but is "learning" to use her first PC. Oh, it's a nightmare.. lol

Well, my dad is trying to regain his youth, I'm sure. He bought a Nintendo DS, an Xbox 360, wants a PS3, I bought them a Wii and he has an iPhone 4S and an iPad, he as little idea how to use any of it really, lol. My mum is much better n has been using computers for years, thank god otherwise it would a complete nightmare. At least he is trying though rather than turning away from it and it keeps him out of trouble as well, lol
