Hay Day Discussion and Game Help Thread (NO FRIEND REQUESTS)

Looking for advice, i have one smelter, open to make boat quests, still haven't bought the juice press or opened the mine yet. What should I do next? I'm level 26. Thanks!

Here are some things to consider..

Do you have more juice requests on your order board or more silver/gold/platinum requests? Do you see ore for sale a lot at your neighbors stands or in the paper? If so, you can wait on the mine and get the juice press. The minimum smelting time is 8 hours. You could easily find more ore to purchase in that time.

You'll produce 16 bottles of carrot juice in the same amount of time it takes to produceone silver bar.

So if you can only buy one, buy the juicer in my opinion.

I agree with this. I have 3 smelters and finally I feel like I am producing barely enough to fill 1-2 metal orders a day. I am filling many more juice orders a day than metal orders. Most metal orders are for 2 to 4 bars each which can easily take 2 or 3 days to produce with 1 smelter. I'm not suggesting never opening the mine, because it is kinda fun to watch the ore come out, but from a business prospective, I think the juicer is a better buy.

Sigh I hope to reach this dilemma soon

I also put staples that can be replenished at a quick rate when I need to make room in the barn :-)

PS thank you ever so much Holidae for your wonderful compliment on my farm, it was a delightful way to start my day :-))
Wishing you an awesome Thursday!

I think the value is in the juice maker vs the smelter at the moment, I do run one smelter but find as others have mentioned there is
plenty of ore and bars for sale, while juice is scarce :-))

( I would much rather have 2 juicers and jam makers than 4 smelters :D )

I haven't seen even one juice order on my board, even though I'm high enough level to buy the juicer. I seem to get a lot of requests for the metals...so thinking I should invest in the smelters first. I see quite a bit of raw metals for sale in my paper & neighbor stalls.
Each person's game must be a bit different, I think.

Been trying to find Hay Day forums other than this one, but my searches come up empty, don't know if my iPad forums app is malfunctioning or what...is there a board for ppl looking for Hay Day friends? Can someone give me the link if there is? Thanks in advance!

Have a look in "Friend Requests". That is where any thread for HayDay friends should be. If there isn't one, you are welcome to start one.

I'm trying to save up for juicer. (need about 15,000 more). I'm thinking juicer is more practical especially because I keep getting orders for them. Haven't opened my mine or bought a smelter yet but probably be my next goal. Anyone have some brown sugar to sell me? 10 would definitely help! Thanks!

I just burned through my supply to fill a shipment. If you're still in need once I replenish I'll gladly sell you some.

May I borrow your ladder? My gold is a little out of reach.

I would be selling that many if I were not afraid no one would buy them lol. If anyone needs shovels, there are plenty in my stall. As well as wheat that gets replenished often for those of you who are growing long timed crops and have hungry animals.

Don't forget Greg buys your items after about 24 hours if they haven't been purchased. That's another way to make money. Work your chickens and cows to produce a lot of eggs and milk and place them on your stand at full price for Greg to purchase the next day.
