Is it possible to play this game without a Facebook account? I've been playing because my kids got me onto it. I'm now on a higher level to them (because I'm allowed to stay up later) but I have now reached the tree watering problem. They have both spent some of their Xmas money on diamonds to expand things and will get very upset if they can't play properly after level 17! Ideas please????

do you get notifications when your GC friends put up items for sale with advertisements? i just put something up and a GC friend bought it immediately. i can't believe that is a coincidence but i do not get notifications like that.

I don't have facebook. And for a long time, I played without added people through the GC as well. Maybe until I was level 35 or so.
But adding people and having this forum makes it a lot easier. And more fun!

I usually placed some of the dead trees near my stall when I was advertising items. Some shoppers would see them und refresh them.
But it works only once, then you have to cut them down. Getting Tom for a day helps buying saws for example. I am now level 39 and didn't have to buy diamonds so far either.

What are your criteria for doing board orders or ripping them off?

I only do the ones that are easy to find/make and at high XP. I am a paper buyer and I can get lots of cheap clothing, eggs and bacons, some pies, etc. I do those and anything quick to make. I don't do sugars, jams or dairies unless it's a huge XP and only asking for two at most (jams just one). I am quick at ripping boards but I level up quicker doing them than boats. The harder ones or worth a lot full price I sell in stall.
