Oh, when you advertise, use things that doesn't sell to fast like bacons and eggs for 150 coins each and watch the stall. When something's bought, refill. I made 3000+ coins selling this way on one ad.
Leave the mine and smelters until later. Boats don't even ask for jewellery, and focus on getting the other machines. I always manage to buy each machine the second I got to that machine's level and still have 30+k coins left.
If you see a good truck order, big xp, load them up. You'll move up as you make money but not do fast that you are still too broke to buy the machines
