I know I am not the only one here who gets annoyed by receiving constant challenges from other apps - even if they are ones I play - and I have taken to just unfriending people if they keep doing it... But I hate to unfriend people here because I enjoy filling their boats/trading/visiting their farms etc...

Can we agree to NOT send challenges to each other? Is there a way to block challenges yet? (Please GC gurus, let that be a change you make soon!)

Do Happy Street players get some perks from challenging... Because I received no fewer than 5 challenges from that app yesterday...

I'm off to a few meetings, so if I'm wrong and rude you can tear me apart in my absence, but I am curious... How are others dealing with this... And is it vital to some games to use the challenge feature?

Lol no one here is going to tear you apart as far as I know. We all hate it too and I think most of us that are really annoyed by it have just unfriended the people who won't stop sending them. If they're on this forum you could send them a pm asking them to stop but if they're not there isn't really another way to ask them so it depends on what matters more to you... Not getting challenges or being able to fill boats on their farm. Up to you but yes we feel your pain
