Is there a maximum number of items in a single crate?

Not set but pretty normal, lower levels are asked for lower quantities. For example, I know your not at jam level yet but when you get there at the beginning you can expect 2per crate times 3 for apple or raspberry or apple and 1 per crate times 4 for blackberry or cherry I now get orders for 3 per crate times 3 for apple or raspberry and 2 per crate times 4 for blackberry and cherry! I just got one today for 1 per crate times 4 for blackberry so it's totally random but they do ask for higher quantities at higher levels.

Popcorn is usually a lot but I tend to find them all the time and I have raspberries and bushes that I'm just waiting to harvest when I need them so your covered, the really hard things are sugars, dairy, jam and juice. In that order!
