The visitors to my stall are very talented! Three times in a row this happened. I put an ad on corn or wheat, and with multiple baskets of the same thing at the same price, they always buy the one basket where the ad was at, and the rest just sits there for half an hour until I can place another ad. I need an item which is not very popular, that I can advertise at full price, to maximize visitors to my stall. This item cannot be bacon and eggs! I can't stand to see bacon and eggs in the paper (unless i need it for an order or boat) and refuse to advertise it.
Any ideas?

These are all good ideas I seem to have the same problem too very frustrating and I move the ad around as well no matter what though they take one with the ad!!

I sell bacons and eggs for 150. The ad, on average, last 10-15 minute. One time it went away in seconds (and I was miffed) and three times did it sit there for 30 minutes. BUT, everything else sold so at the end, the method worked When I was seriously trying to make money, I made 4000+ coins on bacons and eggs as the advertiser. I kept refilling Oh, I don't make bacons and eggs. I buy those 56 coin ones. So I tend to make 300 coins on them when they sell Chilli popcorn tends to sit awhile. I sell my roasted tomatoes at 105 so they go fast. Raspberry muffins I sell at 10 coins less and they stay a bit.
