I truly believe that it creates the necessity for selling excess items and buying what your short on....keeps the game going!! It's what we do here, trade excess for what we need. It would be boring otherwise.

The only time I've accidentally hit that one I didn't have any diamonds. At least that is one benefit to being diamond poor!

The devs can do that. But from an if statement and random programming point of view, there's got to be some theory behind it

Like I say, I can only keep wasting them, either accidentally or intentionally, i.e. snowmen, benches etc.
