About 3 weeks ago, I was about level 35-39. People were asking for expansion materials in exchange for upgrade materials. As someone who did not need any expansion, I was able to trade those I harvested for barn/silo upgrades. Now that the higher levels and more experienced players have upgraded, now I think it is "the second wind". If you do nor need expansion, trade fore your barn and silo upgrades. It will pay off. The more barn and silo material you have, the more money and "trade-ability" you have. Bottom line: harvest your expansion material. Trade it for barn and silo upgrade. Then, when you are ready, the market will be ready for your trade to begin expansion.

That's just my experience as a hint for anyone in that same position.

I have no idea. I usually don't get mallets and now that I don't need them my farm is popping them out like crazy.
