You used to get deeds...did you trade deeds for mallets at some point? or increased the number of mallets and decreased that of deeds suddenly?

I never keep expansion materials- I trade them first chance I get for barn/silo materials. But mallet is the most common for me with deeds always being the least common. Maybe this is why I haven't seen a deed in a week.

Saws, axes and panels are what I get not often, with dynamite not that far behind in terms of frequency. My farm is built on land with a violent history it seems

My theory is that there is always a balance for all materials, mine items, saws etc you can harvest. Usually the more you have of something, and the least you need that something, the more you will harvest or find it in the paper. I think you can shift and break that balance. I had traded 15 tapes for bolts and now I find more bolts and barely any tape in the paper.
At the same time I have more planks than bolts and tape and keep digging planks every few harvests.
Yesterday I had more markers than deeds or mallets and harvested 3 markers in one afternoon... now I am back harvesting mallets... maybe they are all coincidences I don't know....

Try doing this yourself and see if this happens to you too... of course nothing is for free so you will have to give away some items in order to gain more of others I believe...

I've noticed the same thing. Hence when I get 3-4 expansion materials, I sell them off to people in here. Sure enough, I harvest more of them.

My next boat (coming in just over 1 and half hours) asks for rasperries, goat milk and butter. While I could do butter and rasps, I will have to place some help signs for the milk since I have converted all of mine to goat cheese. So I will appreciate any help.
