I am starting to think that expansion materials might be a rip off ... fewer chances to get other materials from boxes, wheel and farming activities as a result of them, and at the same time these expansion goodies are valued at higher prices even though they are in theory less valuable than a tape/plank/bolt. Because lets face it: a bigger barn is a need. A bigger farm is a want.

Agreed, I will only trade 1 for 1 because you need a whole lot more building materials in this game than you will ever need expansion materials. I love my big new farm but I would have lived without it.

Although I enjoy the fact that there is variety in the game, I'm bummed that throwing new things into the mix reduces the appearance of the old ones.
