Has anyone got the app Pen Pals? What's it like? Any good?

I'm looking to download the pen pals app as I'm just lookin to make new friends from across the world
However (yes call me cheap lol) before I pay for the app I thought I'd get some feed back about it
Alternatively I'd welcome suggestions for other apps that will basically do the above

I think there's a list of them on the actual forum, but they're mostly common sense. Like etc

When replying to a post on the website version of the Forum you will see the emoji face just above the reply box. Press this to bring up the options available.

Otherwise if on the app you need to type it.
