I recently purchased a gumdrop, drop series iPad 2 case. very durable, comes with a screen protector and the silicone outer wrap that fits perfectly. For those who are perfectionist you will truly appreciate the fitment. My only complaint, there's no way to prop it up at an angle, as other cases have offer. Most cases this durable usually degrade the sound quality. Not the case with the gumdrop, you couldn't even tell a difference as far as volume is concerned.

I was trying to decide between gumdrop and the otter box. I was disappointed when I heard the otter box doesn't have a screen protector. The choice was simple from that point on. I'm looking for a clean looking case, that offered excellent protection. I'd like to say I found it, Gumdrop drop series.

Not surprised at the absence of a "stand" of some sort though I agree it would be a nice feature. I use an Origami Workstation in conjunction with an Apple Wireless Keyboard that would work, I'm sure. I'm less sure, though, that the Belkin stand I use with the iPad on my bedside table would work with the Gumdrop case. It's a tight fit with a polycarbonate back protector and SmartCover.

Man that is really nice, wish I could get one. I don't think my iPad would fit in the keyboard though. Since I have this case on it, not sure though.

How thick is the slot where the iPad sits? It might just fit.

I have the millitary edition one (ipad2) and I love it!! The only draw back is; there is NO way it will work with ANY kind of dock. The case is about 1/4" thick around the outside edge, so the dock connector port is recessed. with the case on it looks like it cold bounce off the back of a truck doing 70mph and still be ok.. So far I haven't dropped mine (yet) and I hope I don't for a loooong time but by far it looks like if I did it would be just fine in this case.. I'll have to post some pics when my camera gets done charging....

Very happy with mine so far. No complaints what so ever.

I can honestly say that pressure relieves its self after a few weeks. I have no issues with mine and haven't modified the case at all.

Thanks that's good to know, I was kinda hoping that would happen too. I have noticed it getting a bit easier to open than when I first got it..

My only complaint is that the case tends to pick up anything it is placed on. I have two dogs, if there's dog hair anywhere you can be sure that it's stuck to the back of the case. It has a rubber casing what can you expect right?

True and it does have that slight funky rubber smell too...

Lol, can't say I've noticed that. I still think it's a great case.
