Gps logging app

Hi

Just wondering if there is a app that let's go log gps locations with time and date and then join the dots on a map over long periods of time eg a year of traveling?

Would like a nice display, flat earth with locations pinned and link by lines etc

Open to any suggestions...

I would look into MotionX GPS HD. However, until it can run in the background (multitasking) and build data, you will have to remember to run it and save your waypoints. The biggest issue is GPS will really drain your battery.

All you really need is a waypoint editor and something to give you long/lat.
