Hi everyone! Two days ago I got my first iPad. This is actually my first Apple product other than my iPod. I have to say that I love my iPad! I have a smart cover on, but no screen saver. My girls are grown and I am the only person using this iPad. I always take really good are of my electronics. I would get a screen protector, but I am afraid that I wouldn't get it on well enough and it would look awful.

I am a respiratory therapist and sleep technologist. I guess that I am reliving my childhood since we never had these fun gadgets back in the 70's, lol! I hope that this is only the first of many Apple products that I own.

Any help or recommendations would be welcomed.

Thanks!

Sandra (celticmom2)

Hi Sandra...I have a screen protector on my iPad, but didn't put one on my mom's and the screen is just fine. Needs to be wiped down to remove fingerprint smudges. She also uses a smart cover as well. My screen protector does not bother my viewing at all, but I am sure others would say differently. There's a thread regarding screen protectors...you can find by doing a search.
